Carl Joseph Strange, “Joe”, age 83, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2019 after a long battle with Myelodysplasia Syndrome.
After graduating from South Fulton High School in Fulton, TN in 1954, he started his adult life in the United States Air Force and retired SMSgt. After serving his country for 21 years, he completed a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He then went on the to be an Aerospace Engineer and retired from Allied Signal after 15 years of dedicated service.
Joe loved the game of football, fishing, and a good beer and cigar on a Friday night. As an artistic individual, he showcased his creativity in drawings, his writing, music and song writing.
Joe was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Emma Lois, his high school sweetheart and one daughter, Vicki Jo Carmical.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Elaine Strange and grandson, Lucas Raney, Kacee Vojdani and her husband Shahriar, and his two sons, Aaron and Riley; as well as his two grandchildren, Tara Ohler and Andrew Carmical; and three great grandchildren.
