Obituary

 

 

Brenda Alliene Mungo Waldron, 78, passed away Friday afternoon, April 28, 2023 at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach.

Mrs. Waldron was born in Charlotte, NC and moved to Fernandina Beach 40 years ago.  She was of the Christian faith.

She was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, W. Frank Waldron; her parents, Cecil Murray Mungo and Willie Mae McKee Mungo; two brothers, John R. Mungo and Jerry N. Mungo; and a sister, Jean Evelyn Love

Survivors include three daughters, Tami Carpenter (Daniel) of Charlotte, NC, Wendy Mullis of Concord, NC and Susan Mullis of Kingsland, GA; five grandchildren, Christopher Privette, Jacob Privette, Madysen Adair, Grace Carpenter and Faith Carpenter; two great grandchildren, Kora Reign Privette and Penelope Ledger Privette; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and her beloved pets, Skeeter and Chance.

Mrs. Waldron was a wonderful wife and mother and a great cook. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, card games and was a WWF fan.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date.
