Amanda Reynolds, 46, of Yulee, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach. Originally from Fairview Park, Ohio, she moved to Yulee two years ago after residing in Callahan for many years.
Amanda worked as a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, primarily serving the Blackrock and Chester Road neighborhoods in Yulee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Hixon. Amanda is survived by her husband, Sidney Reynolds; her father and stepmother, Jeffrey and Julie Hixon; two daughters, Taylor Thomas (Zachary) and Hailie McRae (Alexander); a son, Cody Reynolds (Serie); three sisters, Debbie Gordon (Troy), Becky Aouad, and Bonny Goode; six grandchildren, Waylon, Walker, Braxton, Ryder, Hudson, and Kane; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and her beloved dogs, Luka and Bubba.
Amanda had a passion for fishing at the river and cherished moments spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her impact on the lives of many was profound, and she will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 10, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Pine Cemetery. Family is welcome to gather at 10:00 a.m, and friends at 11:00 am.
