Alice Marie Driggars, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her childhood home in Fernandina Beach, Florida, after a long battle with health issues. She was 61 years old.
Born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Alice had a deep love for her hometown and the people in it. A talented florist by trade, she spent her life bringing beauty and joy to others through her flowers. Her arrangements were more than just blooms — they were reflections of her creativity, compassion, and the love she had for her community.
Alice is survived by her three daughters, Megan McGuirt, Courtney Driggars, and Brooke Driggars, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her 7 grandchildren, her mother, Alice McGuirt (84), her sister, Patricia Cloud; nephew Joshua Cloud and 2 great grandchildren. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and free from the pain she bravely endured for so long.
Alice had a kind and giving spirit, always finding ways to care for others even when she was struggling herself. She will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and her unwavering love for her family.
A celebration of life will be held on the beach she loved so dearly — between boardwalks 6 and 7 on Reefer Road. The date and time will be announced once finalized. All who knew and loved Alice are welcome to join and honor her memory in the place that meant so much to her.
In lieu of flowers, the family simply asks that you carry her spirit forward with kindness and love.
