It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alan Fletcher, a remarkable man whose light touched everyone he met. Alan departed this world at 12:30 a.m. September 10, 2024, surrounded by his beloved wife, Greta, and his devoted son, Joseph, just as he had wished.
He was a loving husband to Greta Fletcher for 29 years and a cherished father to Joseph Sellers. He was a proud grandfather to Serenity Miller, Eathan Sellers and Willow Thrift.
Born in Tifton, GA, Alan was the beloved son of Howard Earl Fletcher, Sr. and Lillian Fletcher. He was a devoted brother to Howard Earl Fletcher, Jr., Cindy Ann Curp, Ralph Eric Fletcher, David Brian Fletcher and Angie Griffin Fletcher. Alan also leaves behind a cherished extended family, including his brother-in-law, Matthew Griffin and sister-in-law- Ellie Griffin, as well as Mark Griffin and Donna Griffin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alan was a man of extraordinary character – strong, loving, and caring. He was a steadfast husband, a devoted father, and a doting grandfather. His love for his family was evident in all he did, treating his wife with the utmost reverence and his children with unwavering support.
His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed. We are grateful for the time we had with him and find comfort knowing he is now at peace, walking beside Jesus.
