William Kirkwood, Jr. Obituary

KIRKWOOD - William Isaac Kirkwood, Jr., 80, of Suwannee County Florida, formerly of Callahan, Florida passed away Friday, March 29, 2019. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late William Kirkwood and Virginia Dotson Kirkwood.

He was a devoted father and loving husband. Mr. Kirkwood was always striving to provide a better life for his family. He was employed in retail and later in security until his retirement. He was also an avid train enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Bonnie; their nine children, Wanda (Karl) Simmons, Richard (deceased) and Patricia Kirkwood, Keith Kirkwood, Cheryl (Milton) Hays, Robert (Amanda) Kirkwood, Steven Kirkwood, John (Melody) Kirkwood, Rebecca (Ray) Holloway, and David (Breann) Kirkwood; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating.
