Tina Blayney Obituary

Tina Leslie Blayney, 53, (affectionately known as “Toots” to her family) of Yulee passed away January 18, 2020 in Guyton, GA from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Blayney was born in Rota, Spain and has been a resident of the Yulee area for the past 35 years. She was a member of the 1986 graduating class of Fernandina Beach High School.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. It could be said they were her world. She was a devoted wife and mother and had a generous heart. Mrs. Blayney also enjoyed shopping and arts & crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ron Blayney, Jr. of Yulee, FL; a son, David Blayney (Brittany) of Hilliard, FL; daughter, Jessica Mickey (Chris, Jr.) of Guyton, GA; her mother, Karen Furgeson Leslie (Paul George) of Wilson, KS; three sisters, Ginger Akemon (Jamie) of Yulee, FL, Shannon Hamick (Slappy) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Belinda Carter (Lee) of Yulee, FL; five grandchildren, Brylie and Makenzie Blayney, Landon, Preston and Raelynn Mickey; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Green Pine Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, at Green Pine Cemetery with Bishop Larry Osburn officiating.
