Larry O'Daniel Obituary

Larry Clifford O’Daniel, 67, USN, Ret. passed away November 17, 2019 in Fernandina Beach, FL.

Mr. O’Daniel was born in Memphis, TN and settled in the Jacksonville - Fernandina Beach, FL area 33 years ago. A decorated military veteran, he retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service with the rank of Chief Petty Officer.

He was a kind, caring soul and a loving husband, father, brother and uncle.

Mr. O’Daniel was predeceased by his father, Clifford Leon O’Daniel in 1969 and his mother, Mary Maxine O’Daniel, who away in 1996.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Sharon D. O’Daniel of Fernandina Beach, FL; son, Matthew Clifford ODaniel of California; daughter, Kristi O’Daniel of Istanbul, Turkey; his sister and brother in law, Janet L. and Joe M. Walker of Fallbrook, CA; and nephew, Adam D. Walker, of Murrieta, CA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors, Navy Chaplain, Lt. William Daniel, officiating.
