Green Pine Cemetery
Green Pine Cemetery is the only state regulated, endowed, perpetual care cemetery in Nassau County…16 acres in a peaceful, serene setting just 6 miles west of Amelia Island, 10 miles north of Jacksonville, FL (between Yulee and Fernandina Beach). A full time staff is employed to care for and watch over the grounds. Gates are locked at night.
Because Green Pine Cemetery is a state regulated, endowed, perpetual care cemetery, a portion of the purchase price of each grave space is placed in trust with the State of Florida to ensure those funds will always be available to care for the cemetery.
The difference between a "perpetual care" cemetery and an "endowed perpetual care" cemetery such as Green Pine: Other cemeteries that call themselves perpetual care may bill their client families from time to time for additional funds to maintain their loved ones' graves. Green Pine Cemetery, as an endowed perpetual care cemetery, guarantees that the cemetery and your loved one's grave space will always be beautifully maintained and will never charge additional monies.
Burial Lots are available from $995.00. Some areas are designated for the use of flat bronze grave markers only and other areas for the use of upright or flat bronze monuments.
Mausoleum entombment is available. Green Pine Cemetery offers the area's only community mausoleum which allows our clients the option of above-ground entombment. Many are surprised to learn that entombment in the mausoleum, in most cases, costs about the same as in-ground burial.
Private Family Estate Mausoleums are also available. An architectural tribute to a life well lived. Handcrafted by world class granite sculptors. Available with a variety of custom enhancements such as: crafted columns, chiseled benches, planters, urns, stained glass and bronze doors. Cremation Niches are offered for those who choose cremation but want some form of permanent memorialazation. Some of our cremation client families have chosen to inter the cremated remains of their loved one in a traditional grave space. Other cremation items which are gaining in popularity are our Cremation Benches. These are designed to provide permanent memorialazation by encasing and protecting cremated remains within the bench and giving families a place to inscribe the decedent's name and dates of birth and death as would be done on the headstone of a traditional burial.
Memorials - We also design and sell grave markers. We can install memorials purchased from us in any cemetery. We use only first rate quality granites and have a proven track record of customer satisfaction. No extra charge for custom designs.
